In Chinese, the word “lily” means forever in love.” These beautiful fragrant flowers have been a symbol of purity for more than 3000 years and can enjoyed as a cut flower in an arrangement or growing in your garden.  Dahlia is the national flower of Mexico named after Swedish botanist Anders Dahl. It came from Mexico to the Botanical Gardens in Madrid towards the end of the eighteenth century and was named by Abbe Cavanille in honor of Andreas Dahl, Swedish scientist come environmentalist.
